Sarasota Emergency Dentist (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates as an independent online directory and connection service. We are not a dental clinic, do not provide medical or dental treatment, and do not collect, store, or transmit protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA.
We only collect non-personal, anonymous usage data through Plausible Analytics (a privacy-first, GDPR-compliant, cookie-free analytics platform). This includes:
We do NOT collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or any dental/medical details unless you voluntarily submit them through the secure contact form on the Contact page. Even then, the form data is immediately forwarded to our internal support email and is not stored on this website.
Anonymous analytics help us improve the directory and understand which providers and emergency topics are most needed by Sarasota residents. Voluntary contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your emergency guidance request within minutes.
We NEVER sell, rent, or share any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not participate in any data broker networks. The only sharing occurs when you explicitly request guidance and we connect you to a verified local dentist (you initiate the call or booking).
Anonymous analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months. Contact form submissions are deleted after our team has responded. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices.
You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, simply use the contact form on the Contact page or email the address provided there. We respond within 48 hours.
Our site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
